Yes indeed, it makes sense for Americans to wonder whether the new President of the Ukraine is actually going to fight corruption. Congress attached conditions, and a process, for funding for Ukraine that established metrics that would have to be met before funding. That process was complete and the metrics set by Congress met—in May. Not only does Trump not have authority to unilaterally block that funding—he is expressly barred from impounding those funds in legislation passed after the last GOP crook, Nixon, tried it. Another law that Trump broke.
At this point Matty scores below a rock, and my dead dog, on the scale of knowing anything about Trump’s crimes. |

lol...I hope you are not a lawyer. You still seem confused about a presidents powers. He is well within his rights and has broken zero laws, that's why we have a clown show and not a trial.....Just wait stupid till it hits the Senate and the rules have changed....

Matty, you seem confused again. Impeachment hearings are not the equivalent of a legal trial. What judge would preside over a BJ, and a blue dress? c'mon dude, wake up...try reading the constitution..

The extent of the misunderstanding of impeachment proceedings on display here by maddy and iso is painful.
Impeachment does not require the conviction of a crime.
I know iso can read by his various diatribes about his medical research. Maddy, I'm not so sure about as he continuously repeats false talking points which leads me to believe he obtains all of his "knowledge" from television.

The show is designed to separate Trump from his base, but so far it's having the opposite effect.
So the question now is, will Pelosi allow this to continue after their T-day break?
If she's smart, she won't, but she's even older than Joe Biden, so she may not be able to figure it out. |
