Let me know which clown you think will beat Trump??? |
Biden will be the nominee and he leads by significant margins in the states that brought Trump victory. Michigan, Ohio, Wisconsin. Additionally, Arizona is in play probably because of Mark Kelly.
Health care will be an issue in this election and the Democrats will make it their number 1 priority. That puts Florida in play because of the senior population.
I'm no fan of Biden being President. I would prefer Klobuchar and I support Buttigieg because he presents such competence. But, there are a lot of people buying into Sanders especially in these battleground states mentioned above.
The economy rocks (for a lot of Americans). But, the metrics that brought Trump the Presidency (loss of manufacturing jobs) remain and the Dems will capitalize on that.
Its a long way till election day! |
The jokeshow "phase 1" trade deal is a genius political stunt that will take effect in the Spring and Summer, as the Chinese double order soy beans from the Heartland, at the tax payers expense... A brilliant way to bring some of those voters back into the fold. US Steel , one of the presidents 2018 photo-ops is going bankrupt so he needs to offset it... |

Clearly the San Fransisco and mountain press must have missed this from Mondays' WSJ...........
Manufacturers are paying relocation costs and bonuses to move new hires across the country at a time of record-low unemployment and intense competition for skilled workers. Half a million U.S. factory jobs are unfilled, the most in nearly two decades, and the unemployment rate is hovering at a 50-year low, the Labor Department said Friday. At the same time, Americans are moving around the country at the lowest rate in at least 70 years. To entice workers to move, manufacturers are raising wages, offering signing bonuses and covering relocation costs, including for some hourly positions. They are betting that spending on higher wages and moving incentives will help them find workers to fill their backlogs of orders.

Nice diversion Mr. Gybe. Our manufacturing sector has just recently exited a recession!! It shrunk in 2019, and one of the reasons is we cant compete with efficiencies and costs, and we are short skilled workers...which is amazing in my view. The article you linked really illustrates just how woefully unqualified millions of Americans are to get jobs in the manufacturing sector, maybe that's why they attend Trump rallies.... |

Mr. Gybe, remember back a few years when you doubted the Apple transition from Steve Jobs to anyone , and said competition from Asia would hurt them.. Well , it's worth $1.4TR today and is the worlds most profitable company.....amazing... |

Diversion! You have done nothing but talk the economy down since President Trump was elected. The facts, that your biases force you to ignore, are that the manufacturing sector improved in 2017, 2018 and the first part of 2019. It slowed in the latter part of 2019 but is strengthening currently. BTW, competition from Asia IS hurting Apple. Asian manufacturers have increased their market share at the expense of Apple. You should know that. The fact that Apple continues to make huge profits by producing its products in sweat shops doesn't alter that fact. |

lol... the liberal media is playing defense for joe at the moment. That will end in the general election when joes incompetence, creepiness, accusations of inappropriate touching from a sitting state senator, his blatant corruption with his son and more will be in the limelight...and he is also a gaff machine....
Good luck!!! I hope you're right.. |

There have been a few comments by mrgybe that I agreed with. Like this one:
Quote: | If you had been paying attention, you would have seen that my only "evaluation of Trump's qualifications" is to state, unequivocally, that he is completely unsuited for the office of the President. |
Quite correct, completely unsuited.
Or multiple comments about increasing the national debt--when Obama was president. Now the last remnant of the British Raj and Virginia-based scold is the cheerleader for Trump's deficit spending economy. Could it have anything to do with giving big oil everything they could possibly want?
Then there are his concerns about communication on unsecured phones--when not done by Trump or Rudy.
Another day, another opportunity for selective outrage. |

More support for the completely unsuited argument. I laughed--but really, it is so sad. To have a man this demented making foreign policy is a crime.

President Trump reveals himself as woefully uninformed about the basics of geography, incorrectly telling Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, “It’s not like you’ve got China on your border.” He toys with awarding himself the Medal of Freedom. |

That's a joke. Apple has crushed Samsung, and held on to massive market share and now a little computer company that also makes phones, is the world's largest company, incredible..... |
