No one said it was going to work over night dipshit. It's a rough game but something needed to be done unless you enjoy getting screwed by the little chink pricks. Thank god we have a president who will fight for what's right even if it hurts him politically in the short term.. |

Unfortunately we have a president supported by deplorable bigots who use racial prejudice as their default. Thinking would be so much better. |

Sorry but I call people what they are based on their behavior , not their race or gender....THE CHINKS deserve no better. They are dirty , rotten , cheating little pigs and and only a liberal dipshit like you would defend the worst cheaters, human rights, and enviromental violators on the planet...
You are one confused old liberal.
You would much rather attack some poor farmer in South Carolina whose pig shit got washed in a 500 year storm... |

Tariffs have a .000 batting average, similar to your college GPA. The longer they fester the worse it will get. Its a tax , if you want less of something, you tax it! That's what dingbat Navarro is doing... And its already hurting Steel companies, CAT, MU, and many many more. And, we are being forced to subsidize the farmers because of the losses..... |

So, China cheats and imports raw steel and raw aluminum into this country which does hurt mining and process operations. But, that lower cost steel and aluminum allows US manufacturers to produce products at a lower cost and makes the US more competitive. Those manufacturing jobs employ more workers than the extraction jobs.
Increased costs will cause losses throughout the economy. In my field, construction, we are weathering double digit increases in lumber and steel. Those costs can only be passed on so far before the cost of housing an other buildings becomes prohibitive...we are approaching this.
I see the tariffs crashing home starts which has always been a driver of the economy. Recession brought to you by Trump. |

The tarrrifs are for leverage for MUCH LARGER LOOMING ISSUES.
Believe whatever you want, but if you think we are not being cheated on a daily basis you are sadly mistaken... |

We never should have done a deal with those filthy murderous thugs. Now Trump is cleaning up the mess. They steal our intellectual property, have killed tens of millions of people, take over shipping routes in the S China sea, etcetera. Trump's a savior. |

Well. China HAS been buying cheap coal from the US to fuel that environmental record. Before you get on your high and mighty horse about that you should look at how those very same voters that really elected trump...coal country...are gonna do with this.
Blanket tariffs are just BS. There are other ways such as carbon taxing ALL corporations doing business in the US that would be more effective. Now, China will just burn even dirtier coal. The GOP has fought these sorts of trade "reforms".
There is such a thing as trade diplomacy without resorting to trade war. But, the US loses all credibility on environmental issues when we walked away from the Climate Accord. Hmmm. Which President did that?
Matty. My prediction is that this trade war will shut down the construction industry and we will go into a recession. With the tax "reforms" the GOP pushed through revenues will completely crater and the Federal government will not have enough money to bail us out this time and the next recession will be "yuge".
Hope you have some cash to ride it out! |
