Not a pretty break with S wind at very high tide, pretty disorganized swell and some shore pound (aka: shore break). And the momentary monsoon.

Nice glassy 4 -6 foot faces on Monday afternoon 24 rides in 90 minutes on my wave ski, one guy on an SUP, and only one surfer. Tuesday, Some light wind messing up the break yesterday and oddly less wave than the day before.

Hoping for a break in the rain before the wind dies this afternoon. Maybe 1:30 to 2 pm .

Swell cleaned up when the tide went down. 3 to 7 foot faces outside, kinda messy inside maneuvering around big moguls. 5.0 for me, Don on 5.8 better choice as the wind faded. Warm air and water and first wave sailing in 3 weeks. Wind held SE .

Horseneck should be deluxe tomorrow - Friday - if the wind 4cast delivers. Fun new sandbars creating very clean breaks here and there, especially 2 hours either side of low tide, which is around 11 am

Fog gradually burning off, but it's gotta a long way to go at 8 am. Friday.
I did come across this video. Victory at sea, dead on-shore conditions on a 3.3, the stuff you love to hate. And the rider is not young.
