********Now SOLD********

********Now SOLD********

Hi All,
After 25 yrs of windsurfing, it’s time to hang up my windsurfing wet boots!
I have really enjoyed my time on the water and the sport has meant so much to me for so long.

I now have some equipment which I want to sell as a job lot, I just can’t face selling it all separately.
The classifieds section on here looks a bit lifeless and was wondering if there are better places to list it?
It would need to be collection only and I’m in Massachusetts.
I reckon there is well over $3k worth of gear, I’d be happy with $2.75k everything varies from excellent to immaculate condition.
If anyone is interested or knows someone, please let me know my email is badgb21@hotmail.com
I can arrange photos etc, but just easier to come and look at it really!

Thanks for any help.

Kev

I can't help you sell anything, but I CAN commiserate with forced retirement from WSing. I'm not there yet, but can identify a few specific threats to it. I hope you've thought it through very thoroughly, including ways to postpone it on a season-by-season basis. One obvious suggestion: WASH THE DANGED BOOTS! Smile

I hear you on EBay. I won't go near it even as a fixed-price buyer, let alone a bidder or seller.

Craigslist works. Over the last few years I have sold a few masts and sails. As long as you don't have a big dollar small sized item CL will have minimal amount of scammers after you. My rule is to ignore any reply that has bad grammar.

I can see it now:

"My dear Kook bit the big one last week.
Survivors include ...
Achievements include one-footed no-hands monkey forwards, BFF mastery, ...
Donations are being accepted by the CGWA.
Yada Yada.
Now down to business. Here's a list of his $#!+ priced to move:
HELP!"

Yep. Mine is thoroughly trained in buying and selling at swap meets. However, I am deliberately whittling my inventory down to one big truckload, and have designated some specific items to be given to some deserving people.

Thanks for the advice.
Some of it made me smile too

Maybe I could squeeze a few more sessions out before my elbow knees and back finally give in!
Advil profits will certainly reduce when I finally stop!

I need to catalogue the equipment and give it some effort, though I suspect Spring may yield better results.

Thanks
Kev

Proper exercises and PT are normally far more helpful and less harmful than NSAIDS.
