Thanks for the info. I sailed one last summer and loved it. I really liked the way it powered up then depowered on the wave. Im looking for opinions on which model. ZX9 or Surflite or Featherlite. Ideas anyone? |

Your best sources should include a SEARCH on this forum for those key words, talking to Chris at Northwave, and reading their website blurbs. Each model has its merits, different strokes for different folks, I've owned and enjoyed all those NW models and more, I've settled on the Featherlites, and even with them I specify several custom tweaks. You'll quickly find that DTL wave NW sailors love their Surflites for the reason you specify, and they also make great Gorge B&J sails for that reason and their supreme smoothness in STRONG gusty winds. I depower only when forced by survival instinct to do so, so I prefer the Featherlites for more foil stability when rigged big to fill he lulls (maneuverability is a given in those three models.) |

I would say the NW model,
1st which size ?
I think their web site is pretty helpful,
The Friday sale is probably on hand .
The 6.2 I had was a ZXSE, NICE.
THE others , you need to define your priorities , then it's not so hard to chose. _________________ K4 fins
