Anyone besides Formula use sails over 10 m² ??

sorry about the confusion on the term "Free Formula"
i coined the phrase from the early Starboard Free Formulas
they were about 90 cm wide - around Y2K/2000
even the BIC Techno Formula is / was 90+ cm wide
for me the true Formula board is 100 cm wide

other Free Formula - for me - are
SB UltraSonic 147 + Fanatic Falcon 152 + Tabou Speedster 89 + RRD X-Fire Lightwind 150 + Exocet RS 6.5 and the Lorch Bird 179 (if i missed any, i apologize)

these boards can be called LARGE freerides/freerace and some approach race/slalom
the specs typically say they can handle LARGE sails more than 10 m²
(and fins are LONG, but usually LESS than 70 cm)

in future posts/questions i will NOT divulge TMI(too much info) nor used coined phrases

No worries.
And TMI is totally fine and often helps.

But using a personal "coined phrase" can lead to confusion when our only connection is through written words on the web. When you're at the beach with your sailing buds, it's fine using personal slang phrases... it's fun and entertaining
Part of the confusion here, was the phrase "Free Formula" which was actually a named model from Starboard for several years. And it was an exact copy of their FW board (same dimensions)... but was built from cheaper and more durable materials.
Now, they've changed this model name to "Formula One". But it's the same idea from Starboard. A copy of their FW, however built with cheaper and more durable material.

I was calling the JP SLW 92 a "BIG free-ride board", which as you see above, is a match for what "they say".

Some windsurfer's are a technical bunch... and are also trying to be helpful. So keeping posts as accurate as possible, will save A TON of time in questions and replies, IMHO.

Regarding the JP SLW 92, I think the most apt description would be a super light wind slalom board. The designations of Freeride or freerace suggest a detuned slalom, which I feel is off the mark. The SLW is clearly a high performance slalom shape the focuses on early planing and beam reaching.
