It appears, the two main windsurfing rider's for MikeZ cannot get a board from the master, even though they both have inquired. Both did get, two year's previous, 90 cm wide Formula boards, which are just starting to show age from 240+ days of combined Formula and Kiting wear.
Still, you gotta try, MikeZ can't continue forever designing and trying kite foils, can he?

Maybe just a little extra money can make it happen. Still though, I feel that telephone calls are the way to go. E-Mails can often miss the mark.

I have to ask, does Mike still require a deposit to get on the list these days?

I think if Mike and Steve have given up on getting new slalom boards from Mike, it's pretty much over.
MikeZ has been foil kiting with foil kites and board.

Weirdly, the kite racing development is all about the kite (duh!) and the foil. The board looks simply like a small chunk of foam.
I hope he is 'force' to make boards again.
If I had to have a slalom board custom made though, I would ask Phil McGain for one.

Rob Mulder from Vancouver Canada makes very good carbon slalom boards. As far as I know Bruce Peterson from Sailworks rides these boards and wins many races with them. Dale Cooke is another happy customer.

I have no relationship with Roberts, I am just a satisfied customer. I have a 24" slalom Roberts board and I will get another one this year in the 26" size.
