Well, I am happy to report the wind has been howling since Nov. How are the other islands doing as far as wind?

Puerto Rico has been getting mostly light winds, barely kiteable, to maybe some gusts into the lowest 20's, maybe 5 full days, in all of Dec..
The usual, as stated by most of the guys at Punta Las Marias.
The windiest day we saw in Dec., and we were there from the 9th thru Jan, was one day around the 13th at Patillos, S shore, when it appeared the gusts were in the mid 20's, but enough E so it didn't fill into Inches or Isla Caribe.

Zirtaeb, around the 3rd Jan, the wind shut off a bit here on Bonaire. It's not as as strong as Nov. - Jan. 2 but still, good stuff. Keep posting. I love hearing from the other islands.

Cheers

Annie

Well, this Dec. it appeared the winds shifted towards an ESE direction, slightly offshore in San Juan, and coming from the mountains at Aquadilla side, so was lighter than "normal" at lots of N shore spots. S shore spots filled in, but very few windsurfer's still sail on the S or Carribean side of the island.
The very best day we had at 7 Seas, around 20-30 mph, was ENE, filled in, and solid from noon until 4PM, then it switched E and got holey.
