The board is the Exocet Windsup 11 8 bamboo edition (gregnw44) and the sail is a Naish Indy (Coachg) 8.4 brought is second hand for around 250us couple of yours ago. Good backup sail for the rest of the bag.
As I said marginal conditions but was planning for much of the time at 100kgs that is a new one for me! These boards could revitalize the sport if we can get people on them because once you have one you will never be without it as an option. I started windsurfing 1982 and had a ten your break while I got into golf (not sure why) - this board has sucked me right back in!
I'd love to get my hands on the my new X-Long board but that is Australia sent there new for holidays in June - long wait! (outhaul) |

Interesting how much wider the new windsups are compared to the original kona versions that I have. Probably much easier for paddling in the waves and seem to sail pretty good too. |

I did own a Exocet Kona at one time and sold it. I now have a SUP with a mast plug (Fanatic All Wave 8'11") and use that more than I used my Kona. I found the rails on the Kona too sharp for me in the surf. Also I found the Kona did not paddle well at all. I now paddle my SUP from 0-12 Kts. then 12-20 kts. I sail. I like the paddling as must as the sailing. I usually sail in Hatteras and there always seems to be waves or wind and if I al lucky both. I have put the All Wave through the rinse cycle a few times and have never had a problem. Oddly I keep bending extensions. If anyone has a fix for that let me know. Alternatively I am now good an re-straightening extensions.
