With 152liters , my size suggestion is more 6.0.. So 5.8 --6.2

The larger Gaastra will not be good for this stage . Too big.

The specific Fiberspar mast models would be helpful, to help with particular sails.
The Maui sail of that age works best on a hard top mast.
Most recommendations on sails will be what someone has, so it's personal preference, opinion.
The American sails are Ezzy, Sailworks and Northwave. Didn't say they were made here, Northwave is. Naish probably in this and HotSails Maui.

Ezzy are known for their customer service and very sturdy construction, making a older sail a realistic option.

You will likely get quick replies on something you consider.

Windance IS a source for used sails. The current crop of 5.5--6.2 is not typical
With a repaired at 159 and 2 at 550$ Or so..... .

Windance have sails from 3 major areas.
1. Last years rental sails from the Gorge rentals from their shop.
2. The sails that they have purchased from a vendor, rx Baja or elsewhere that does rentals.
3. Those using the Windance consignment , so private sellers that have Windance sells for them for a consignment fee.

So long as you are aware of WHAT you are purchasing these could be a good deal.
Having sold both boards and sails, and purchased both also.

Dsh,

15-25 is the sweet spot for really fun windsurfing. Once you know what your doing. The board you have can also be a ton of fun once you know what your doing.

All the above suggestions for sails are also sound.

A 5.0- 6'0 in 10 to 15 will let you shlog around and learn points of sail and the volume of the board will more than keep you floating.

Just be patient, get out on the water in lighter winds and progress into more wind.

If you have a 6.0 and the winds are 10-15 not all that much will happen, if the wind comes up 2-3 more knts then get ready cause that board will pop up on a plane and you will have a blast.

If you can get your hands on a 200ltr wide board the whole process will take a lot less time.

Have fun.

Dsh

You probably don't need advice on where to buy used gear, my 2 cents anywho, Windance has a big selection, if you call they will give more specific details on the condition. Craigslist , either local or another city is a possible.
Florida stores a option. Shipping will range from $25 -40, if short enough the US mail will work, FEDEX preferred.
Ebay, I would ignore any from Hawaii that are rentals , I think that includes most rentals that could have been rigged a long time. The Windance rentals from the shop, Ezzy mostly are daily rentals.

Local swap meet, if any

While there is a classifieds here, you could post a
WANTED : in this general section.

There is a critical question that others may be able to answer, which is - Do any of these sails have "adjustable heads"? In other words, none will fit on a 460 mast UNLESS the top of the sail has adjustable webbing and a cap for the mast, so that if the sail has a 430 luff length, 30 cm of the mast can stick out through the top of the sail. Most likely, all of the sails you posted will work better on a 430 mast, but some may be ok on a 460. Which ones??????

Older sails tend to have adjustable heads while newer sails are more mast specific (no adjustments). Not a rule, just a trend.

I looked at ALL, YOUR POTENTIALS.

THE North ..something seller is on drugs, he wants $141 to ship.

I don't think you you find many sails that fit the 460, in this size.

The Ezzy 5.8, least all I have ever seen have an adjustable head, or the head strap to extend the sail. This would be my first pick.

The HotSails 5.3, you would need to contact the seller, OR HSM, if the head is adjustable, if it doesn't have the strap to do this, HSM will supply one, usually free. I know the seller on this particular sail, it's in the running.

I think of the 2 the Ezzy would be better on the 460. Considering the Fiberspar mast , it could be a toss up on sails, Hot sails want a softer top, but not knowing any more on the Fiberspar, it could work on either.

Of note is most sails work to their best on the mast preferred by the maker, size wise that is
