Here is some video from yesterday. Some of the quality is barely watchable though, but I think some of you will enjoy it. I guess I figured out the futility of chasing a moving target with a gopro while on my windsurfer Sad

Good stuff.
Interesting, you guys now park at the bottom of the hill, where the Maverick's parking lot is now located.
Back in the day, we parked at Ida's Restaurant, rigged and launched from there, and later on, parked at and launched right next to the dock in the video, at the end of a dog poo road. We lost the Ida's parking and rigging area when a lot of other windsurfer's refused to eat there, and only used it for parking and rigging. Original crew, 1984, ate there EVERY day after sailing, and we'd check in and bought coffee before we rigged, a totally different way of thinking.
Now evolved to the Mav's parking lot.
PR is still important, Public Relations.

Looks like fun but how is the water quality during a storm?

Not too good, I imagine. Does "What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger" apply?

@Zirtaeb: Seems to me that most people park and rig at the end of the road near the old wooden pier and then sailed up to that beach at the beginning of the video.

Nice LUCARO!

Thanks for sharing.

The 9-year old is most impressive!

Yes, once you get over the initial infection! Speaking from personal experience.
