I have Makani weed fins on both of my quads and the same twins on a Sealion. The Makani's perform well, but they never fit. I end up spending over an hour sanding and grinding to get a flush install. The side fins are the worst, US boxes ok.
So yes, Keith give them some completion, they are the only one making the quad and twin weed setups.

I was down there a couple weeks ago and saw a lot of wide, short boards being used in the lighter winds. How do they sail these things on big sails and weed fins? I rented a Tabou wide body and was unable to hike out on the rail without causing a spin out. Seems like that quad set-up is a good way to go on the sound or on any shallow water where using the long fin/wide board is required.

i make a 35 and 38 hatteras weed fin that will handle the wide boards.. for example. Sean Kelly got 2nd in the 2nd heat at the obx wind reef race last month using a 35 Hatteras weed on his Exocet RS. (in the first heat he made the fatal error of not using the hatteras weed:-)) it all has to do with the foil design and the precision machining so the fin is actually doing what's its suppose to do and not spinning out. also the hatteras weed will outperform weed fins that are much bigger so it has the added advantage of being able to run in shallower water for a giving sail size.

Both Maui Fin Co , MFC, AND Maui Uktra Fin ,MUF...make weed fins for multiple fin boards.

The CNC , fins also mentioned perform very well, and are ideally suited for Hatteras.

K4 are being developed weed fins
