As I found out yesterday at Haskins, windsurfing isn't safe without good non-skid. Can anyone recommend a good non-skid tape? I tried the re-deck stuff. After a couple weeks it vanished and is more slick than without! Thanks!

In the old days we'd use some ultr clear epoxy resin and spread granulated sugar on top while it was wet. After drying hose it off and you've got an amazing grip

I've started using "Goop", a spray can of anti-skid clearish (very faint yellowish tint when dry) epoxy with grit you can buy cheaply at hardware stores. Can't remember the price, but wasn't much. Made for bathtubs, decks, ladders, etc, but seems to work just fine on WS boards. Several applications per can. Cheers, David

An amazing array of solutions. I'll give it a go. The strip tape. Thank you all for the great recommendations.

I use this. Traction, comfort, deck and knee protection, color choices, and it's permanent and may even improve the looks of a board.

Acrylic dust. Most likely its what your board came with. Don't know the proper resin, but it's what the board lady recommends. Check her site. Comes in different grits. Must remove old grit and re-dek.
