As far as Obama's upbringing, I think that his grandparents gave him the kind of balance and caring that he needed to become the person that he is, and it allowed him to succeed far beyond the constraints that limit most folks.
Lastly, let me ask you this. Do you frequently talk about your white heritage, and how it influenced your life? |
I sure as hell don't hide from my white heritage or feel an ounce of guilt about it like lefties do. |
really, do you believe that serious crimes should go unpunished?
Do you believe that they should hunt down the white Nazis? and punish them today? Still?
Do you believe that the German companies that used slaves/prisoners in the factories that made profits from that during the war should be paying Jewish survivors in recent times when their victims had long passed away?
Do you believe we should ever allow such cultures to have nuclear weapons in their hands? Didn't we force them into certain military limitations for those actions?
Are you aware that for instance the Greeks and Turks are still having resentments about battles thousands of years ago. _________________ when good people stay silent the right wing are the only ones heard. |

What makes you think that as a liberal that I feel guilty at all about my white heritage? That's kind of a bizarre view of things.
When it comes to black folks, I know that the deck is often stacked against them, especially in certain areas of the country. That's a fact, whether you accept it or not. When blacks can break out of society's boundaries and truly excel, you have to respect their efforts, because it wasn't always easy for them.
Given the fact that President Obama has achieved so much, I wonder why you have no respect for the guy. Maybe it's his politics, but I'm thinking that you should really look beyond that. |

Here we go again. The lefty Kooks use horrible images and connotations to impugn the integrity of conservatives. Lunacy. And I'm not talking about SWC. |

That $12k tent suit Hillary was wearing is certainly indicative of her devotion to the working class. |

Technically, there is something very wrong with the title of this thread.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hillary Clinton is not the first female presidential nominee — not even close
Hillary is the biggest — but she’s not the first.
Many news outlets reported that Hillary Clinton’s clinch of the Democratic nomination made her the first woman to head a national ticket.
Not even close.
Clinton is merely the first woman to earn a major party nod — but she follows these party standard-bearers who also tried to break the ultimate glass ceiling:
Click to see the 12 other women that made the national ticket (I'd say 11 1/2, or just 11, the last one listed was more of a joke than anything else)~
seems you have some reading comprehensions problems....
As I noted first post...
This Is What Making History Looks Like
Quote: |
Forty-four presidents have been elected in the United States over the past 228 years. Not once have voters had the option to choose a female candidate in a major party. Until this cycle.
About 40 years ago I worked with the most despicable peson I have ever met--an American Nazi. He spoke almost exactly like Matty.
Come on Dean there is no reason for you to get your feathers all ruffled up, because in fact it seems that you have some reading comprehensions problems....
"Hillary is the biggest — but she’s not the first."
I guess you have some problem with that, not good enough?
All I can say is get used to having your feathers ruffled, the general campaign is just starting, so you'd better toughen the F up if this is all it takes. Good grief. |
