Short narrative here...
This 3.7 NorthWave came from the Colombia Gorge Windsurfing Association,
CGWA , COST was probably a tenner. It was sound and suitable for the purpose intended, which was , keep rigged in the back yard, and do practice flips, jibes tacks, and those other freestyle maneuvers, which have fancy names.
The sail had been the MOST robust of any I have use for this, considering I'm at 6000 feet , ultraviolet rays intense, it had little to no signs of wear. It was stored over winter.
This early spring we had a large late snow, after being rigged up, the NW was buried in a foot of snow, my dogs were unaware the sail was under the trees and punctured the film repeatedly.
I removed the battens and while doing so could examine the batten tension system, ingenious and looking very strong.
Her days now at a end, except the horse needed some sensitivity training,
With a flapping and cracking with the wind.... NW
Most excellent. _________________ K4 fins
