Going to a wedding near La Mision / Rosarito end of July, is it worth taking a big quad and a 5.8 to sail Rauls? I've only heard about it, never sailed it but I'm pretty used to light winds.

It can be sketchy trying to score wind in July down there, but I wouldn't go w/o my stuff just in case. I've had good sailing down there, but it's been a long time, the last time I was there the base of the bluff along the beach smelled like sewer, hopefully it's cleaner now days, it should be anyway.

Capetonion, I've sailed there a number of times. It can be very good on occasion. Send me an email before you leave and I'll give you an update on weather patterns.

It works best with NW wind in the outer water and quickly clearing marine layer.

It's never good down there! Don't bring your gear!

Actually it's about time Iwindsurf installs one of their new fancy weather stations down there.

Hey Mike Godsey, what do you say? There's a lot of good internet connections down there these days!

Yup, that looks like it totally sucks! And from that modern sail, it looks like the sucking has been recent.

And it looks like it sucks way more than Florida summers.
