|
|
Hello All
I have an old windsurfer, and I LOVE it. The mast foot (female) isn't working properly anymore, and I am looking for a replacement. If you know where I can get a mast foot for one of the old school windsurfers, please hit me up.
Thanks![/img]

Robin, you can get parts for the original Windsurfer here:
http://www.originalwindsurfer.com/site/index.html
I have bought parts there. It's run by Matt Schweitzer, son of Hoyle, the originator. Great to work with. He can fix you up.

Hi Marc
Thank you. I actually did try that. The mast foot I bought doesn't fit my mast track. I worked with a fellow named Ted Schweitzer, and we exchanged a number of photos and suggestions. I think the windsurfer I have (Windsurfer Duralight) must be a different model than the one his site supports.
I appreciate the suggestion though!
Robin

Oops.....sorry. Yes, it's Ted who runs the site. Matt is the older brother who was on the pro circuit for a while.
That is an interesting part. I owned several original windsurfers, and I do not remember that part. The board I still own has a round piece that attaches to the mast track. Where did you buy that board? Is it possible it was made outside the U.S.? I think the company licensed it throughout the world. Good luck and let us know what you find. I still enjoy getting my board out for freestyle every now and then. Mylar sail is really beat up, though!
