Windsurfing is Dead

As a slight aside, I bought a kite once from a well known place in North Carolina in 2008. When the kite arrived I unpacked it and three, yes three, "Windsurfing Has Been Cancelled" stickers fell out.

That was the last time I ever patronized those douchebag #%@$.

Kiteboarding is allowed on Lake Garda, just not north of Tempesta until after 6 pm. Absolutely no place to launch a kite in the northern part of Garda unless off a boat.

have only been to Hatteras once - spring 2015/ last year
while there it seemed there were many more windsurfers (than kiters)
went through my photos and found only one with kiters

I hope they keep that going every year. I've always been jealous of Defi Wind, it would be great to have a North American version.
