As a slight aside, I bought a kite once from a well known place in North Carolina in 2008. When the kite arrived I unpacked it and three, yes three, "Windsurfing Has Been Cancelled" stickers fell out.
That was the last time I ever patronized those douchebag #%@$. |

Kiteboarding is allowed on Lake Garda, just not north of Tempesta until after 6 pm. Absolutely no place to launch a kite in the northern part of Garda unless off a boat.

Saw a photo, from this past spring, of a race taking place in Hatteras. I was surprised at the number of sailors int the race. |

have only been to Hatteras once - spring 2015/ last year
while there it seemed there were many more windsurfers (than kiters)
went through my photos and found only one with kiters
here is a photo I found of the spring 2016 race = NICE

I hope they keep that going every year. I've always been jealous of Defi Wind, it would be great to have a North American version. |

The Hatteras race .. Registered sailors right around 110.
The awards ceremony had the MOST people I have seen ever at a event. _________________ K4 fins
