As a resident of the East Bay for 40 plus years, and the last 23 windsurfing from there, I have to say that the East Bay is close to me, and occasionally good, but usually less windy than other spots, and the swell is minimal compared to places like 3rd ave channel or Sherman on an ebb.
I keep telling my East Bay friends about these other places , but most of them don't want to drive the extra distance.
However, Berkeley this season has been very good, and the new sensor there reads low. hopefully sail there this afternoon.

| Yeah, hadn't seen Vi in about 3 years. Met here on her first day as dayleader for CSC, she was cool and talkative. Saw her with Kev just before I went out on 76 Quad and 5.1 Hansen today.
