The down days are certainly hell in retrospect, but worse is our advancing age and diminishing opened eyed youthful stoke to try something new, balancing it all with the fact we've all done it 3+ decades ago, and bad memories last longer than the good ones.
But yeah, the enthusiam of youth, innocence, and lesser committments.
