On my graphs, windspeed is shown in MPH - and that's the way I like it.
But on the forecasts, it is in knots.
Does anybody know how to change the forecast to show MPH instead of knots? |

Knots X 1.125 = mph. For example 8 knots x 1.125 = 9 mph. |

And since the forecast margin for error (not even counting the frequent much greater disparity between the text and charted forecasts) is greater than that 1.125 factor, it doesn't really matter. |

Pete, do you have it set to Miles Per Hour in your "Settings" located in the top banner to the right? (mouse over or click on your username)

Use the calculator upstairs.
If you don't, you'll soon lose it. |

True, but I really get tired of converting my RV's outside temperature readout from C to F; it won't lock onto the F setting. It's either convert or thump the display. At least with knots vs mph ya just add or subtract 10%.
OTOH, for when it matters, the actual kts to mph conversion factor is 1.152, not 1.125. |
