Do you know if he was sailing with the Kona class fin too?
I think his biggest handicap must have been the sail, followed by the fin. Clearly not the board. |

I agree Sailboarder. If Craig Spottiswood aka "Spotty" Sailed a 12' 6" windsup over 34 knots with no footsrtaps, then I have no doubt that a Kona 1 could reach or exceed this speed. 34 kts = 39 mph. |
