(reminder)

...and the other is filling up.

The Napeague clinic is full (my wife and I are in that one). Still available in the area:

Tiana Bay: September 23-25

Atlantic City: September 30-Oct 2

Bloggy post about it all here:

If you're thinking about doing the camp (and everyone who lives nearby and wants to improve his windsurfing skills should), sign up now! Not only will it make sure you get in, but it also allows Andy Brandt to add another teacher if necessary.

For the Cape Cod camp that's starting today, too many windsurfers waited until the last minute, thinking they'd be safe because there were more than 6 spots left. Well, these spots filled up in a day, and there will be some who cannot attend the camp because it's sold out now. Don't let that happen to you on Long Island!

It definitely happens. People think Andy won't turn them away with money in hand. But they maintain a student to teacher ratio, and they do turn people away. Seen it twice myself.

I was shut out a few years ago, waiting for the wind forecast.
The last two years I've registered early, like by two weeks. There's a lot to learn there in both light and high wind.

the personal feedback from Andy and the crew has been particularly helpful in helping me progress and improve. Forwards up next...well I keep saying that to myself...
