Again, let's see if you can remain silent when the topic of custom boards comes up. I don't think you can do it, but maybe you can prove me wrong. |

My board arrived!!
OK first impressions
- The packaging is the best I have seen, 3 layers of cardboard!
- Board is light, dunno how many kilo’s but for a regular construction, light.
I will try to find a scale later and weigh it.
- Pretty compact board, at 232 length, 65 width, 107L its'a a lot compacter than my 115L Naish Starship, 245 x 66. My Naish had a lot of (doomed) volume under the feet, the Flikka has the volume in front of the mast track / nose
- Colors are super, the blue / fluo yellow gradient is just what I had in mind. I have to say that the graphics are not super precise, I mean the masking and placement and spacing of my wasp tail. Just does not look that consistent to me. I also asked to wrap the blue arrows around the rails but since I was not able to show this in my sketch they did not mask those out. Black glossy rails, dunno why glossy but it looks good. They also glossed the bottom, even if I did not ask for this. Maybe better for performance?
- Hardware: one hex key for everything, strap and fins. The non twist strap inserts are fantastic. I am always stressed installing new straps with those horrible screws and plastic inserts. On this board it’s a whole different experience! For now I installed outboard and will use in single fin but I am looking forward to experiment with other settings. The fins are just jewels, indeed. Perfect fit in the boxes too.
- Pads: So so. They could have cut the middle piece of front foot a bit better. And what’s up with spraying the anti slip after glueing on the footpads? Does that wear off after time? Oh and they made me a nose pad from the same EVA than the footpads, looks OK, I guess.
Anyway, can’t wait to try out the board… just need to find some wind!!

ANTON
your fins, and a friends who has a Thommen , look the same, mine were different. Do yours look like other than G10 ?
I highly recommend K4s as a option. _________________ K4 fins
