Good start, but there's nothing like a friendly face-to-face chat. |

Lars
Hope you were able to get out on Lake Champlain today.
I got out early and it was real gusty with some big lulls. I was sailing a launch which faces south. The shorebreak was serious and the wind was so holey it was a struggle to get through.
Hope you had a good sail. |

What an amazing day!
I ended up at White's Beach in South Hero, VT. The 30+ readings I was getting on iWindsurf on the drive up during the night was too much of an enticement.
Arrived at 6:15 and was dark but moon lit. Rigged up and was out by twilight. Sailed the 4.0 with the 69L Fanatic. Winds were 30+ and gusted up over 40 at times.
It was the best birthday present!

Thanks! Looks like another southerly for Champlain tomorrow. Hope you catch some. May end up down in RI in the afternoon.

Next trip up you may want to try Plattsburgh Bay. Google a map of exit 39 of I87 and you will see the beaches (State and City). They may be a mile, at the most, from the Interstate. |

Quite a place isn't it! I lived in the White House on that beach for a while and just up the road is my First home with my Wife. (Wish we never sold that! (the house not the wife)).
Great Place to play!! |

Sailed LesRoches Saturday afternoon, nicely over on a 93ltr & 5.3. Sunday morning, I was way over on a 72 & 4.0. There had to be more than a hundred sailors & kiters between the"Rocks" & Cumberland bay beach. Water & air were a comfortable 60 degrees each. Good time, trying to download photo's. |
