Looks like fun to me. Don't see where he came close to anybody. I've had guys 10' over my head but the Dangler is the only one I trusted.

Everything is fun until someone gets hurt, then the go fund me page goes up to help because of injuries. As a long time windsurfer and kiter ,it amazes me the chances kiters take to show off.

Notice that i n one of those shots the WSer is ALMOST hit (it looked close even in the fisheye lens.)
Vince was a big, young, laid-back guy, always smiling. One day while standing in shallow shoreline water, he was being used by a friend of his as a jibe mark. After telling him to stop did no good, Vince grabbed the friend's boom on the next pass, yanked him off the board, and cold-cocked him nearly unconscious.
This kiter is even more threatening, even if their seashore winds were steady.
Have I ever jumped over a WSer? Yep ... ONCE ... in perfect conditions on the spur of the moment. It was a dumb and arrogant move even though I was certain of it and cleared him by a large margin (he was down and I was at full speed), and I've never done it since that day many years ago. (I also flew over a dirt bike in the desert with both of us at speed, but we were dressed for it, it was a big race, and it was just once.)
This kiter's deliberate moves look dangerous, at least in the long run. Caca pasa, and when he some day hits someone, let's hope both his victim and the courts punish him accordingly. OTOH, I've never heard any complaints about the Gorge's top WSing jumpers (e.g., Cook, Kitts, Dill) for bailing at 40 feet in crowds, and one guy seems willing to give the Dangler a pass. Maybe most people are so awed by others' skills and charmed by their smiles that they accept such risks.

Don't like it, not one bit, if some kiter was to be pulling that off at our w'surfing spot, not only would the resident w'surfers run him out of there, but the resident kiters would have as well.
Totally irresponsible, what a dick!

My buddy tells me I'd be pissed if it was me getting jumped over. I know he's right. Looks cool from up in the sky.

His creds do mitigate the danger, but he still danged near hit one WSer. OTOH, I'd bet he could have aborted safely or steered clear if necessary ... 99% of the time.
But AHD looked the other way despite MANY complaints about their extremely arrogant world class racer Byron Marsh.

Langeree's video description says "Please note that these are my friends and that we have discussed on how to do this."
They do appear to be waving / smiling up at him:

If those jumps were in fact OK'd by the jumpees, I have no misgivings at all. I try to give kiters upwind of me plenty of room to fly at will, and I know I can avoid them as long as I see them coming.
