depends on what you are looking for. if you want luxe, definitely stay at mystica: http://www.mysticacostarica.com/. it's a yoga place, but the owners windsurf and kite, so they are more than welcoming to us. and the place is epic-ly beautiful. plus, restaurant!
if you want your own place (which is often the best balance between cost and comfort), look at the places on the www.ticowind.com website: http://www.ticowind.com/CostaRica/arenal-accomodation.htm
there are also some people who stay out in tilaran (maybe 15k). more nightlife, stores, cool small town, little houses to rent, and a hotel also (hotel mary?).
maybe one of the delta sailors can chime in on that?
all of the above would be excellent. they only really important thing to watch out for is to never, ever, under any circumstances(!) rent equipment from Hotel Tilawa. it's a total bait and switch. you couldn't pay me to burn their gear, it's so old and junky. the only good concession (and they're beyond good), is www.ticowind.com.

| been here for 15 days so far. 4.2 to 4.7 every single day. some rain, some sun, and great sailing. |
