My best friend has a vintage Z Boom that has that scissor-like clamp-on front end. It's virtually brand new with less than a day or two of use. No doubt, a true relic in near perfect condition.

Near the end of their popularity they were available with a Chinook front end. The Lock Jaws were pretty wobbly.

Does anybody have Chinook RDG Carbon Boom? 24.5mm diameter! Any reviews? Is it strong enough for average size guy - 200lbs Smile
