Andy,
Another option in LB is to rent an ATV at the place on the main drag. You may be able to get a decent weekly rate. If you are by yourself you can always hitch hike around town. Almost every kiter or windsurfer will pick you up and they compose much of the traffic. I do this after a downwinder.
If you are with family and they need to see the Las Cabos tourist mess you hotel can arrange a shuttle.
If you make it to La Ventana drop by my house and say hi.
