WASHINGTON (AP) — Two months before special counsel Robert Mueller was appointed in the spring of 2017, President Donald Trump picked up the phone and called the head of the largest U.S. intelligence agency. Trump told Mike Rogers, director of the National Security Agency, that news stories alleging that Trump's 2016 White House campaign had ties to Russia were false and the president asked whether Rogers could do anything to counter them.

Rogers and his deputy Richard Ledgett, who was present for the call, were taken aback.

Afterward, Ledgett wrote a memo about the conversation and Trump's request. He and Rogers signed it and stashed it in a safe. Ledgett said it was the "most unusual thing he had experienced in 40 years of government service."

140 contacts between Trump employees and Russians. The best that can be said? Bad judgement not a crime. You guys must be so proud of team treason.

You couldn't contradict yourself any better if you tried. Treason is a "crime" punishable by death.
Lets not forget something very important, the only reason that you guys have these little nuggets from the Mueller report, to juggle like superballs, is because Trump gave them to you. By not ever using his executive privilege, something that is very rare, he supplied you with the toys for you to play with.

Wrong yet again.

The "nuggets" did not come from Trump. They came from others who cannot claim executive privilege.

In addition, many of the "nuggets" were from the campaign, prior to Trump being elected President. Executive privilege is not applied retroactively.

Care to try again?

No shit Sherlock, most idiots know that, but you may want to refresh yourself on how a POTUS can extend E.P. to others in his orbit, staff, and family for instance, something Trump never did.
So you just be happy with the toys he gave you and go outside and play like a good boy.

I'll say it again. NW--you seem to be happy with the judgement of a man who directed multiple people to commit crimes--promising them pardons. You seem to be happy with 10 efforts to obstruct an investigation--much worse than Nixon. You seem to think that there is nothing wrong with 140 different communications between Trump, his minions, and the Russians that were trying to help him get elected. You seem to think there is nothing wrong with Trump writing lies to explain the meeting held in Trump Tower.

I'm happy that I live in a world where the people can believe all the time, effort, and money that went into an investigation that has proven that our POTUS was not influenced by RUSSIA.
What's not to be happy about, everybody should be happy about that.
Our country can continue to prosper, as designed.

Unless you're a bitter clinger that is more happy that they got it all wrong, and we do have a RUSSIAN puppet for the POTUS.
That's the world you prefer, and it's all yours,,,,,,,, enjoy.

Not influenced by Russia? Utter nonsense.

Quote:
The Trump administration has announced it will not impose additional sanctions on Russia, despite Congress passing a law allowing the President to do so.

With Monday the deadline for the White House to impose any new measures, the US State Department insisted the threat of sanctions was already acting as a deterrent.

The new sanctions would have required the US Treasury Department to penalise foreign governments and companies doing business with Russia’s defence and intelligence sectors.

The list goes on, but obviously you live in a fact free world.
