The wind has been really good for us down here in Los Angeles area. This weekend we had an epic Saturday with winds gusting over 30+. People out on 4.2, 4.6 and some radical racers flying on 7.0s and formula boards. Have sailed almost everyday during the last week with 6.0 and less with a few days where I was way overpowered and should have been on much smaller gear. The weather is warm and the water is nice so you need to pack your gear and get down to Cabrillo Beach, Seal, Sunset. Come see the whales, dolphin, and occasional seal. If you come be sure to bring a beer and join the gang for the after party. The sun is shining and the waves/wind is up. Lots of stoked people having a great time on the water. Hope to see you all soon!

Glad you guys got some fun, but you just got our leftovers, the wind and waves that we couldn't use up, because there was so much (about 225 miles north).
You're welcome, hopefully we'll be sending you some more leftovers later next week. Gotta couple of small systems to pass thru first, then more wind. Wink

Nice Loopless! If you call leftovers 4.7 and head high surf leftovers are alright with me. I've got to make it down for one more good day at Tourmaline. That was fun!!

Moving (back) to So-Cal from the Pac NW this summer... and these pictures make me not-so-sad to be missing the windy season in the Gorge! Glad to see you're getting wind!

Semi-nuke at times yesterday at AL, 4.7 to 4.0 with head high sets, but very choppy on the outside, due to the lack of kelp, but it's starting to grow back, slowly.
