Free Seminar on Windsurfing in San Rafael June 1st

Our Semignar series is a free, fun, informal group get together that focuses on sharing information and experiences as a community. We welcome all, and hope you'll learn something new, and maybe even bump in to some new people.

When - Thursday June 1st 7pm
Where - 101 Surf Sports - 115 Third St, San Rafael

We try to tackle one topic a month and this month it's all about Windsurfing.

We’ll rig a sail together to teach proper rigging and derigging.
We’ll talk about the gear, the terminology, the safety issues, and the costs.
We’ll do some dry land practice to get you on the path to learning to windsurf.
We''ll meet special folks and talk story.
We'll have special discounts and deals only for attendees.

We encourage experienced windsurfers please also attend and help make connections and share information with the group. Our staff is deep in knowledge so we are happy to help with any tips or questions.

The sessions are also informal snack potlucks. Grab a bag of your favorite chips, or put that apron on and bring some dip. Definitely not required but makes for a good way to stave off the hunger pangs and share a little culture.

The shop stays open so you can come on by anytime, but we will be starting promptly at 7pm. You are welcome to show up late and simply just jump in.

There is no RSVP Required and the event is free so bring friends.
