Anyone have a 2003 Starboard Catalog PDF?

I just purchased a 2003 Starboard Carve 99 and want to find out what HDE is. I'm also looking for other general information.

Unfortunately the 2003 Starboard Archive has been down for months. I've emailed them a couple times to correct it. No reply from them and the archive is not fixed either. I'm beginning to think Starboard's online contact form in not connected to anything; just a button.

Great board.
Fast freeride, medium rails for easy turning, light at around 15 lbs. and rides like any modern fast freeride board.

Have you tried raising the question on the Starboard forum? That's a great way of communicating with both the general public, and often with their team members. The latter folks are usually participating on a frequent basis, especially on their team forum as identified below.

Good to hear it. Thanks for the reassurance! I sail a 2004 Carve 121. The 99 is for my wife. I think it will be a good board for her to learn footstraps and blasting.

I just created an account on the Starboard forum as you suggested. For now I can't do anything until they approve me. Hopefully their forum replies are quicker than their replies to online inquires (which have been none). Now we wait...

In the meantime, if someone here DOES have a PDF of the 2003 Starboard Catalog please message me. Thank you.

Fin sizing for Carve 99 totally depends on rider size, skill, where sailed, water conditions, wind speeds, and sail size chose for wind speed involved.
AND, what kind of fin. A pure blade like a Meritex would need about 5 cm more length than a regular blade like a Tectonics Gold Wing, which is different than Tectonics Phoenix, or regular pointer like True Ames Pointer, or wave type fins.

Examples, for Carve 99, and 160 lbs rider.....
A 8.5" wave fin, for 4.5 thru 6.0 sail sizing.
A 10" pointer, same sail sizing.
A 34 cm Tectonics Gold Wing...
A 32 cm Tectonics Phoenix...
A 38 cm Meritex Blade...

since SB website and forum have upset me for years %^^&**(
tried and tried to get at their archives, but gave up
instead managed to download the German Surf Mag report and tried to translate it to the best of my colloquial German

Um, interesting that on a 99 liter Freeride board that such a difference of fins, mostly really high dollar, Formula type , Barr the TA, or wave which is wide open, and really not suitable for the intended use...time time time back warp to what early 2002--3--4

Fins mentioned equal 2 plus time the boards value..oh really
