Stolen sails - Rio Viento -Sherman Island - June 10th

Thieves today in a gold beater car parked on the levee road, ran down to our RV And started hauling away sails and boards stored underneath. Thankfully someone saw them in the act and they ran off to their car ,dropped the boards however got away with 3 sails. I heard they hit some other RVS. I'm pretty sure these were non sailor thieves.


I'd like to give the community a heads up and be careful about leaving anything outside.. and be on the lookout for stopped cars on the levee road Sad that this is happening in what I thought was a safe place.

The stolen sails are:

North instinct- 4.2, 5.0 - brand new
Hot sails Diva - 4.8 pink with the daisy - can't miss it.

I'm sure they will show up on Craigslist in a few weeks..and hope I can encourage the sheriff to go after the sellers if I find them.

I appreciate any heads up should you see these sails for sale or on the water.

Can't imagine they could have got those boards into a car but...Friday or Saturday ??? someone stole a complete rig (Naish Force 5.3) from the Sign. We could be dealing with more vehicles.
