Hey all. I have been blessed to go for a new raceboard. Here in the USA the main boards we have been sailing are the Equipe II. I would like to go to either the Exocet Elite 380 or Starboard Phantom 377L. None around for me to test sail so i need your input to make the decision on which one to get. I see a lot of 377L out on the results lists but i have a feeling that Starboard may have just out marketed Exocet. I see the worlds in 21014 that 5 of top 10 sailors where on Exocet. Please pipe in especially if you have sailed both but all input would be great. Cheers.

Kona?

There is a pretty active racing fleet that gets together in Florida in the winter. Don't know about the rest of the year, but there are some good and serious windsurfers on Konas these days.

A buddy thinks his new Exocet RS 380 Elite is superior to the 2010 Starboard Phantom Race 380 he replaced it with. Took a long, long time to get it from Exocet and certainly wasn't cheap.

That said...

I'm surprised that scottybda in Bermuda hasn't chimed in. If I recollect correctly he has a Starboard Phantom 377.

sorry guys been away or missed this post! I'm not an expert and can't compare as only used the Phantom 377.

Took it out for the first time since Sept / Oct last year after doing the Bart's Bash on it.
