|
|
Hello
Does anyone know where I can find the specifications of the impact vest of the attached pictures?
Do you know what the model name of this impact vest is?
By taking a look at one of the pictures, it seems the model might be called "Hawaii" but I am not sure because I did not find any model so called among Dakine impact vests in the Internet yet.
Could you please let me know any details you know about this impact vest? I have been looking for it in the internet but I have not found it yet. Do you know whether it is still possible to buy this model first hand?
Thanks in advance

I think that the "Hawaii" designation is just a part of the DaKine brand name. What I would suggest is contacting DaKine at (541) 386-3166. They have a good sized manufacturing and repair facility in Hood River, OR.

It was (they've changed the design and name now) called the Matrix. You'll find them at deep discounts online and at swap meets but be aware that they run very small.

I think this is correct in part, the design changed , so your photo vest is a older model, the Matrix could be its replacement, or not.
Contact DaKine , like said already

Specifications.....
I suspect PFD"s need to float 17 lbs.
Impact vests normally float 12-14 lbs.

My wife bought one like it many years ago at the Naish Kailua store. It has a handle on top of the shoulders for the rescue sled driver to pull you up. It was never on the Dakine web site. They must be made and sold only in Hawaii. I'd call the shops there to get one.
