Sheriff Joe a dismal failure at DEA, why pardon failure

Sheriff Joe Arpaio is another failure of the government he sucked off of his entire life. He worked in the DEA and was advanced to be in charge of Arizona. He was a failure during his time the drugs have left us in an epidemic... he failed us and it pays for his hate. He should refund to american taxpayers all his ill gotten gains.

Joe Arpaio wiki

Civilian law enforcement career 1953-1992
Quote:
Following his army discharge in 1954, Arpaio moved to Washington, D.C., and became a police officer, moving in 1957 to Las Vegas, Nevada. He served as a police officer in Las Vegas for six months before being appointed as a special agent with the Federal Bureau of Narcotics, which later became part of the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA).[25] During his 25-year tenure with the DEA, he was stationed in Argentina, Turkey, and Mexico, and advanced through the ranks to the position of head of the DEA's Arizona branch.[26]

Again he was big on saying Obamas birth certificate was ? He could never prove that but he used his position to question it when he has to date not shown one fact to prove it was not real.

Remember Dan Rather and his gang were basically fired for putting out specific evidence that to this date has not been proven wrong. And the right wing tried and hired a former attorney general that was the attorney general of Bush's father. And that investigation resulted in well the information can not be proven inaccurate. again those letter have to be true, it is impossible to make up those dates and issues and have them fit the timeline with what the living people who witnessed it remembered unless you can read their minds while they are sleeping or plant those memories.

But here Joe gets away with murder.

He and the idiot who Pardoned him are so divisive they might as well be the founders of the Confederate army or the founders of the KKK with the divisiveness of their lies and actions.

Quote:

Arpaio, who was voted out of office last year, declined to explain how he believes the judge acted unfairly toward him, saying only that "it's all documented — the bias and everything else."

Not only will the pardon erase his contempt of court conviction, it also gave new life to a politician who left office battered after years of scandals over a racial profiling verdict, hundreds of sex-crimes complaints that weren't properly investigated and racking up $141 million taxpayer-funded costs for defending him in lawsuits. He was soundly defeated in the November election by a Democrat in heavily Republican Maricopa county.

trump lied again he said it was for the election...

The inquiry started in 2008 under the Bush administration justice department. But because Arpaio would not co-operate with the justice department so it carried on into the Obama administration.

Joe Arpaio was even worse than you think

Quote:
Few Presidents have questioned their duty to enforce judicial decrees affecting private rights. We can reflect on several of our nation’s proudest moments when Presidents have stepped in to support the federal courts. In 1957, President Eisenhower ordered the military and National Guard to end Arkansas governor Faubus’s resistance to school segregation. In 1962, President Kennedy sent troops and U.S. Marshals to escort James Meredith into the University of Mississippi.

An historic instance of law defiance by a sheriff repays study in this context. In
1906, Ed Johnson, an African-American, was condemned to death in Chattanooga,
Tennessee. Supreme Court Justice Harlan granted a stay of execution pending federal review of the case, and remanded Johnson to Sheriff Shipp’s custody. Shipp conspired with others to allow a mob to take Johnson from the jail and lynch him. President Theodore Roosevelt expressed outrage at this defiance of federal court authority. Shipp was prosecuted for and convicted of contempt of the Supreme Court – the only “trial” ever held before that Court. He was sentenced to imprisonment. United States v. Shipp, 203 U.S. 563 (1906), 214 U.S. 386 (1909); see Mark Curriden, Contempt of Court: The Turn-of-the-Century Lynching That Launched a Hundred Years of Federalism (1999).

No President till now has proclaimed that a public official who violated the Constitution and flouted court orders was “doing his job.” The purported pardon is an attempt to exercise a power that even the King of England did not possess in 1787. By that time, the English people had rejected what Madison termed the “impious doctrine of the Old World that people were made for Kings and not Kings for people.” Federalist No. 45
