Anyone with interest (and who would dare not to care) of Hurricane Irma's forecast path, check out the link. No hyperbole, just detailed discussion with lots of models displayed and dissected.

Just packed an Epic Gear bag, with my 69L wave board, 3 of my smallest sails, boom, etc. May take a last minute flight to FLL if the price and storm track is right. Only $200 RT and $100 for my gear.

Here are some more wx links.

Looks like Irma has knocked out the anemometers in Antigua, St. Kitts and Anguilla.

Changed plans. May fly to Ft. Myers. Found the perfect spot!

It doesn't read much wind: Guantanamo bay just 35 (g44), other sensors even less.

What a difference a day makes. Irma goes from east to west coast of FL. Looks like the ECMWF was right all along. Hope the places I inquired upon make it through this and pray that my aunt does ok in St. Petersburg, btw, her middle name is Irma.

Irma is forecasted to almost totally inundate Pine Island where landfall is predicted right now. The perfect spot I referred to much earlier was the red Beachouse at the end of the video attached below Few days ago the forecast was for 30-55 knots with Irma scraping the east coast. Can't believe this quaint little town may be no more...
