I have a couple of mast bases that I purchased from Windance under the Baja name. I stopped using them because I can't figure out what type of replacement tendon they require. An email and call to the shop did not yield any results. I hate to have to toss these out. Does anyone know what kind of tendon is required?

It would help if you could upload a picture of your universal joint.

Most tendon joints can be replaced with one of these two options:

Streamlined Replacement Tendon

Aeron OEM Replacement Tendon

The orange Streamlined tendon has two mounting holes that are offset 90 degrees. They will fit Streamlined and Chinook universals and possibly others.

The black Aeron tendon has two mounting holes that are parallel and drilled for slightly bigger screws. They will fit various universals offered from brands like: Aeron, NeilPryde, Naish, Simmer, Goya, etc...

Baja bases take Aeron replacement tendons if anyone else needs to know. Found some at Sunset. Thanks.
