I think you've made your point N.W.
I notice that when I ride my bike I tend to ponder on the great mysteries of life, such as, why do my underpants invariably come out of the washing machine inside out? Of course, I'm wise enough not to dare mentioning it for fear of what psychologists would call a cross transaction. ( Oh, so it's all my fault I suppose etc etc!!)
On the other hand, when I'm windsurfing (preferable to banging head against brick wall on here) my thoughts and feelings range over a multitude of things, all of which hinge on how lucky I am (80 in just 3 weeks time) to be so young at heart, and fully active.
Truly, life really is a lottery which works well for some, but, sadly, not for others. I think of once virile, but now suffering friends, who have randomly been struck down.
I'm more than ever certain that there are no gods of any kind, and never have been. There is no apparent justice in life. |
