seems on tour she was grabbing another volunteers ass. She seems to have a double standard on what is not acceptable. By no means do I like the picture he took of her, but if this was the sort of thing they engaged with so be it.

But here is a photo of her in public holding Franken in a deep kiss and not looking like she was against it at all.

and here is a picture of her grabbing some other performer during this uso event in the ass sexually assaulting him?

and note she is a hard core right winger with some very strange statements in the past.

A re-posting of something from the merchants of rage does not constitute an adult discussion, which is required in today's climate. I have handled two sexual harassment cases, neither sustained, so I have some background in these issues.

First, let us look at sexual harassment, and the remedies. Here is the legal definition, taken from case law:

Quote:
Unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, and other verbal or physical conduct of a sexual nature that tends to create a hostile or offensive work environment. Sexual harassment is a form of Sex Discrimination that occurs in the workplace.

Bantering between employees, asking a co-worker out on a date, or passing by a porn shop while on an assignment do not constitute sexual harassment. The key is either having a quid pro quo for employment or advancement, or a pattern of behavior that constitutes a hostile work environment. In such cases, the remedies can be progressive discipline or termination.

Turning to the photos of Franken groping, or appearing to grope, a co-host. Unless those were part of a pattern of behavior that the co-host willingly participated in, that is sexual harassment. The remedy is an internal complaint, and it could well have resulted in Franken's termination. I don't care if Leeann Tweeden is complaining now because she disagrees with Franken's politics, or she is complaining now because she thought complaining at that time would hurt her employment opportunities. Such behavior is unacceptable in the work environment, even if welcome, because at best it creates the impression of a special relationship between Franken and Tweeden which is hostile to other women. He probably should have been fired.

Certainly such evidence can be used now as a gauge of someone's character. I would not vote for Franken based on the photographic images. There are any number of others, both Democrats and Republicans, I would also not vote for based on credible accusations or evidence. But there is a difference between voting for someone, and finding sufficient evidence to vote for impeachment.

Now there is a new accusation, and it falls into the arena of he said, she said. If the photo taken by her husband shows him grabbing her butt, that would provide evidence, an accusation many years afterward does not. That is why it is important to document and/or file complaints while memories are fresh and witnesses can be interviewed.

Finally, turning to false equivalencies. The charges against Franken may well be credible and sufficient for Democrats to call for his resignation. But I know that famous people are sometimes falsely accused, it happens to athletes and may even have happened to Trump. In such cases it is important to accord both sides due process. But that is very different than the "everybody does it and Donald is draining the swamp" postings by right wing operatives. There are many reasons not to vote for Roy Moore, and his own admission that he sought to date teenagers should make that clear even to conservatives.

http://www.newsweek.com/donald-trump-rape-sexual-assault-minor-wife-business-victims-roy-moore-713531

In 1994, Trump went to a party with Jeffrey Epstein, a billionaire who was a notorious registered sex offender, and raped a 13-year-old girl that night in what was a "savage sexual attack," according to a lawsuit filed in June 2016 by "Jane Doe." The account was corroborated by a witness in the suit, who claimed to have watched as the child performed various sexual acts on Trump and Epstein even after the two were advised she was a minor.

"Immediately following this rape Defendant Trump threatened me that, were I ever to reveal any of the details of Defendant Trump’s sexual and physical abuse of me, my family and I would be physically harmed if not killed," Jane Doe wrote in the lawsuit, filed in New York.

The lawsuit was dropped in November 2016, just four days before the election, with Jane Doe's attorneys citing "numerous threats" against her.

A former Trump business associate, Jill Harth, claimed in a 1997 lawsuit the New York real estate mogul “attempted rape” and groped her without her consent on various occasions. In the suit, Harth described a violent encounter at Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort, in which Trump allegedly threw her against the wall of one of his children’s bedrooms before lifting up her dress.

"It was a shocking thing to have him do this, because he knew I was with George [her partner], he knew they were in the next room," she recalled in an October 2016 interview with The Guardian. "How could he be doing this when I'm there for business?"

In the pre-election interview, Harth maintained her allegations against Trump despite having withdrawn her lawsuit against him after he settled a separate suit her partner filed over a business dispute.

Viento less, Dean has been peddling this story daily, for about a year now, and nothing ever comes of it.

Charlie Rose and Glen Thrush (from the NY Times) both harsh critics of Trump, they are dropping like flies.

And nothing has come of the allegations of rape against Bill Clinton as referenced by Tri-Cities Mikey...so what's your point? Two powerful men accused of rape and no consequences...nothing ever comes of it. Next...
