This has potential too.

I have a fin collection but only use one per board. If that doesn't work it's time for a different board.

Obvious is a fin stash bag, long fins are hard to fit.
Multi fins , K4 make a small pouch with zipper
I have small plastic cases, like kids use for art supplies, and a old cosmetic suitcase that works great.

I don't experiment much ....anymore. I'm in total agreement with you
(and Bill who lives in Utah these days BTW). Fins make a big difference.
I keep boards I like until they are heal dented (or fractured) into oblivion.
So, when I first get them, I experiment a lot with fins, until I get what I
consider the best combination. Then I just ride'm, and sell off (or
give away) extraneous fins. I'm not much for swapping fins out for a
specific purpose, because I'm usually renting when wave riding, and the
boards I own are pretty tuned up for the specific conditions they encounter.
Once in a while I'll swap to my bigger (spare) fin, if the wind has backed off
and it's easier to swap fins than boards (which is rare unless you're making
the hike at Rooster in the Autumn).
My OO 7'9" has a Wardog Extreme wave (say what you want about
Warren, but that very flexy fin is magic) 21 cm in it (and standard OO side
bites), my HiTech 8'2" has a 23 cm GFC B&J in it with custom OO side bites,
My RRD works better with the
32cm "Sweeper" fin it came with than any other fin I've tried in it. My
Logosz 8'2" has a 24cm Vector in it (though I'm still looking for a more turny
fin that will still work with with 5.2-5.7 on that board. Oh, yeh, and my Bailey
8'6" (which I use mostly for board cam video these days) has a pretty sweet
pink GFC G 10 28 CM sweeper in it.
That just covers my Gorge rides.
But like a good stereo, you tune and swap, until you go "oh yeh that's what
I want", and then you hang out and bliss on it. ;*)

Something tells me you don't experiment with fins very much.
Mamero's on the right track. |

That's cool. What are using to separate them? hard to see exactly.

When I set up my van in 2003 (from which I can pull out a board and go) I "temporarily" tied a fin bag to the back door. It now holds a dozen fins and can probably take a few more.
