Guilty.
But then the same goes for boards, masts, booms, and wetsuits, for many reasons and excuses. |

If you've been windsurfing for a long time, you're bound to have dozens of fins. I know I do.
One thing that is notable and different about fins is that old designs are often timeless. Some of my best fins are the old ones in my collection. |

Amen to that, Steve, I have some fins that are no longer produced.
It will be a sad day when they shear off ;*)

Consider avoiding the need to use fin covers as part of the organization package. These introduce two additional steps in the use/storage process.
Organizers the fins with the fin's bottom (the top, actually) facing out with each identified with a paint pen.
Separate fins with sheets of foam.
Each fin should have its own bolt(s). All bolts should be common threaded with the same type of head. I suggest this is at least as important as any other suggestion, perhaps the most important. Fins bolts get lost, face it. Fumbling around with a random bolt only to strip the fin's threading is a major PTA. Identical threading makes for easy swaps, even with divergent bolt lengths.
The best fin bags for anything but wave fins was made by Epic Surf. The fin bag opened at the end, so all fins and their respective base markings were front and center. Each fin was separated by foam. _________________ Support Your Sport. Join US Windsurfing!
