and much of the rest of the caribbean...

i'm in cabarete next week - i hope there will be some sand left on the beaches. wind would be nice too..., but i was down there for the caribbean 600 and i am afraid the caribbbean might have used up its wind quota for the year.

Awesome!

Went down to the beach today... oof, pretty to rough still. The waves were still huge, reaching up high on the beach. Tomorrow should be lower finally but still amazing for surf windsurf etc!

We should be getting good conditions for the weekend. How long are you here for?

arriving sunday, for a week - sailing out of Vela

when i was in antigua a week or 2 ago the water was colder than normal, because of the strong winds and bigger waves - is it colder than normal in the bay at cabarete?

One week is quite short to score but Sunday, Monday, look good to great. Maybe more days, need to wait. Forecast is better about 2-3 days, waves are quite accurate up to a whole week!

EDIT: Water is a bit cold but it's warmed up now during the day. I'm using a shortie, it's nice when sailing late but not necessary.

So helpful to have humans tossed around to better size those monsters!
