I just returned from taking my granddaughters to SFMOMA. One of the more moving displays was the funeral train of Robert F. Kennedy. https://www.sfmoma.org/exhibition/train
It reminds me of a time when we aspired to equality in justice, not to stealing everything we could. This seems like an appropriate quote for these times.
Quote: | There are people in every time and every land who want to stop history in its tracks. They fear the future, mistrust the present, and invoke the security of a comfortable past which, in fact, never existed. |

Does that quote have anything to do with liberals tearing down statues of people who offend them? |

You're all in with white supremacists who committed treason?
It's simple. There are better heroes. RFK for one. Martin Luther King for another. Killed by guns, some killed by white supremacists. Tell me again why we should celebrate white supremacists with statues in public parks? |

Don't forget Teddy, he was also a hero, can't wait for "Chappaquiddick" to be released, the honorable story of an honorable hero.
Or was he just a victim of a family curse? |

Did I write anything about Ted Kennedy? Diversion—the approach when Fux news talking points don’t work.
How are you celebrating Martin Luther King’s assasination? |

Now you're trying a completely new diversion by asking me a loaded question based on the assumption that I'm a racist.
From the Kennedys to racism, from white to black, you are the best at diversion, even though you base it on total bull shit.
This thread started out, by you, as a thread on a Kennedy, and now twice you've tried to turn it into a thread about racists, at least I'm staying w/in the family with no mention about racists, but you can't even do that with your own thread.
Tell us more about diversion and how you don't like it. LOL!!!
I really feel sorry for your former students, they must have walked out of school totally confused everyday.
"Did you hear what Mr. McGrath said today?"
"Yeah, I know, I don't get it." |

What an asshole. I posted that RFK was a hero who was inspirational rather than mean like Trump. It was jpbassman who sounded off about statues. The statues are all of Southern soldiers, guilty of sedition, who started a war to try to preserve slavery. He posted that on the 50th anniversary of Martin Luther King’s assasination by—a white supremacist from a red state. If you think that’s not about race you’re a fool as well as an asshole.
Martin Luther King is also a more worthy hero than any of the southern seditionists. Remember, all of those states fought the Martin Luther Kingt holiday—as did the POS attorney general. What an asshole. |

LOL, you forgot to say that the school that I went to should be burned down,,,, as you usually do, you're slipping.
This is what happens when you try to imply that I'm a racist based on nothing but your own sphincter, I won't roll into your crap, so don't try. |

Hmm, what do you call people who tolerate, apologize for, and justify racism? |
