Looking to go on windsurf trip possibly cabarete late june to early july this year however I want to minimize getting skunked with less than nominal trade winds if at all possible .

I have heard La nina and neutral. Anyone have any thoughts .

My previous trips to Cabarete have been less than perfect years back for windsurfing (1 great out of 4 trips compared to Maui 4 great out of 5 trips.
Cabarete can be awesome , a lot less expensive than maui but winds in the past have left me a bit uncertain on what to do this time around.

Thanks

Bonaire’s stats look pretty good: http://wx.iwindsurf.com/spot/1295

Was there in February and can’t wait to go back.

Can NEVER predict weather + you book in advance.
Hope for the best, plan for the worse.

Currently in Cabarete. Blowing nonstop for a week now. People are on 4.3-5.5.

How does one see these posts without actually going in each forum?
Darn... sorry!

Anyway, fantastic year from April on until September when it shut down to come back in October. Things still look pretty good going into next year from what I can see, feel, sail Smile

There was an even in April at Encuentro, were you there?
