To my fellow windsurfer at Crissy who sailed in and brought me a replacement in haul boom line today, thank you very much!
Thanks also to the sailors who hung around to make sure I was okay.
Sorry I didn't get your name but who ever gave me the line, please contact me and stop by Windchaser Winery in Berkeley for a bottle of wine as a thank you.
I've sailed with a spare line for years but didn't have one today, when I needed it most. Crazy fun day! Great community, great sport. Cheers. |

Saw a sailor with a broken mast at Berkeley yesterday, so I sailed in and dragged the rescue WHALER out the yard and into the water to give the sailor a ride in. Later, said sailor took the skiff and rescued a sailboat off the rocks. Was windy everywhere. |
