I'm convinced that Donald Trump actively wants to promote problems between the US and Canada, and mat-ty is a poster child for what results from that kind of nonsense. He's always striking out against the voice of reason.
What's all the BS about working against our allies? Trump seems determined to work on stupid, and seed division between those that we need to form a serious global consensus on many important issues.
This is supposed to mean a better deal for America? Maybe for Trump airheads that are die-hard supporters of whatever he says or tweets about. I'm not at all convinced, and I'm hopeful that many see the right path through the BS. |

Maybe you can elaborate on the Iranian situation citing Donald Trump's notable brilliance, to include all the important details.
Please don't get foolish and simply present his rejection of the international nuclear agreement reached during President Obama Administration. His off-the-top actions are not about working with our international allies and global forces in any meaningful outcomes. I think that we will see that unfold in an untoward way over time. |

Cruelty????? you're a fucking moron. They are safe, warm, well feed, and a thousands times better off than they were on the dangerous journey their parents subjected them to.
Thank god we FINALLY have a president that will stop this lawless , reckless behavior. |
6 year olds found wandering in the desert ALONE! The parents shouldn't be deported, they should be executed. |
Do you realize that this isn’t about poor parenting, but trying to flee, at any cost, horrible dangerous living conditions? Wake up! I have a friend who’s parents fled the Vietnam. They weren’t horrible parents by any means. They knew there was a better life for them abroad and they took huge risks for their children. Try to think outside of Malibu. |
America does more in a day for the poor and helpless around this world than Canada does in a year. And that is probably an understatement.
|
And that has to do what with the price of tea in China?
Why don’t you brag about all the crap the US has stirred up the world over while you’re at it. You know, like Vietnam, where first they vowed to help the them gain control from the French and develope democracy, then abandoned their promise, only to wage a useless war against them killing 100’s of thousands of them. |
It's directly to your point retard. You say America has no compassion, and I say you are clueless. We have tremendous compassion and NO ONE does more than we do. Bill Gates alone probably does more than your beloved Canada. If the world hates the US so much than stay the fuck out, stop invading our freaking country.
I can't tell if your rants on America are based on jealousy or ignorance .....maybe both.. |
"You say America has no compassion"......I did? Show me.
"We have tremendous compassion and NO ONE does more than we do. Bill Gates alone probably does more than your beloved Canada"....like with all the recent refugees?
"I can't tell if your rants on America are based on jealousy or ignorance .....maybe both."
Matty I'll bet you I've been to the US more times than you've been to Canada. I'll bet you're a hundred times more ignorant about Canada than I am of the US. I can tell by your stereotypical American arrogance.
I'm jealous of the diversity of the US geography, and in general, I find the people very friendly, until they open their gobs about politics. I'm not jealous of the have and have not mentality that has lead to such income disparity, and poverty. I'm not jealous of inner cities that look like hell holes. You know, I've never walked through Toronto, even the worst areas, and ever felt afraid. I can't say that about most US cities. I'm 6 ft. 200 lbs. and don't scare easy. I'm not jealous of the divisiveness of the politics. I'm not jealous of the arrogance displayed by Americans when I travel (they are the biggest friggen whiners hands down....ask anyone in tourism). I'm not jealous that the richest country in the world doesn't care for ALL of its' citizens enough to develop a form of social health care (more of the have and have not mentality). I'm not jealous of a country that has such racial issues.....I could go on...... I'm not jealous about much, period. I sure wish I had the geographical choices of places to live though. |
You just proved it mostly ignorance. Again nitwit Canada does not even come REMOTELY close to having the issues to deal with as America does. Let me know when thirty million people with little to no education invade your country. Let me know when Canada sends billions of dollars every year around the world to help the needy, let me know when the world expect Canada to keep them secure and safe at YOUR cost(money and lives) .
And just for the record, french canadians are notorious assholes and some of the rudest people on earth.
Have you ever wondered why 90% of your population lives within a hundred miles of America?? |

The village idiot writes. He's wrong again.
Quote: | The much-maligned government program that funded the failed solar tech company Solyndra is expected to make taxpayers a $5 to $6 billion return, Bloomberg Businessweek reported on Wednesday.
The loan program is run out of the Department of Energy (DOE), and covers a large umbrella of investments to encourage green energy and low-carbon technologies. According to Businessweek, the expected positive returns on those investments are detailed in a new report DOE will be releasing, perhaps as early as Thursday, on the loan program’s performance — the first such estimate the agency has made of the fruits of its efforts.
The program has the authority to spend as much as $40 billion, and has allocated $32.4 billion of that to a portfolio with dozens of specific projects. Half of the $32.4 billion has already been paid out, in loans that average a 22-year lifecycle. The Energy Department expects the full $5 to $6 billion return to come in over that total time period. But $3.5 billion of the principal for those loans has already been paid back by the various companies that received them, and the government has already garnered over $810 million in interest payments. The portfolio’s losses only amount to $780 million so far, and they aren’t expected to rise above $2 billion once everything is said and done — a fraction of the $10 billion in losses the government anticipated when it originally designed the program. |
As of 2009:
Quote: | Since the nation began using nuclear energy, the federal government has provided billions in subsidies to the industry. More than $85 billion has been spent on the nuclear industry since 1948 (see Table 1). With such extensive support, one would hope that the industry would be financially strong enough to support its business costs. But despite the decades of generous support, nuclear power continues to be riddled with cost and risk concerns that keep private financial backers away and the industry relying more and more on federal taxpayers.
According to a recent Energy Information Administration report, in 2007, the nuclear industry received nearly $1.3 billion in subsidies and tax incentives; an additional $30.7 million was awarded to research projects under the Department of Energy’s Nuclear Energy Research Initiative in FY2007. On top of these subsidies, the industry has been awarded billions in lucrative tax breaks and subsidies in the Energy Policy Act of 2005. |
Trump's proposal:
Quote: | A Trump administration plan to subsidize coal and nuclear energy would cost US taxpayers about $10.6bn a year and prop up some of the oldest and dirtiest power plants in the country, a new analysis has found.
The Department of Energy has proposed that coal and nuclear plants be compensated not only for the electricity they produce but also for the reliability they provide to the grid. The new rule would provide payments to facilities that store fuel on-site for 90 days or more because they are “indispensable for our economic and national security”. |
Socialism for Trump's buddies. Meet the new boss. The old idiot is still the village idiot. I almost didn't point our his inability to spell "Solyndra." Contrary to the slurs that will come back my way, it is indicative of how sloppy Matty's "thinking" is. |

Or anything else. Ever. How does it feel to be always sure of yourself--and always wrong? |
