How useable is the Leo raws sensor for predicting wind at Leo? Does anyone have it calibrated such they know what it should be reading for sailable conditions at the beach?

Thanks

I use it as an indicator. It is located on the hill on the other side of PCH so if there is wind there then there is a good chance of wind on the water. My second point of reference is the Surfline cam for County line. There are two cams, one overlooking from over head and one at just above water level. The over head cam makes it look windier than it actually is. The other cam gives a good view and if there are whitecaps past the kelp combined with the raws sensor reading 13 gusting 20 (or better) then that is enough for me to drive down there. I've only been burned a few times using this method.
